Apparently TaraElla doesn't hate hip hop anymore.
She recently had this to say:
"I guess hip hop may not be anti-liberal - it just needed time to evolve
to become liberal, and it's path is slower than pop. After all, we are
now seeing Jay Z, one of the biggest hip-hop stars, supporting marriage
equality. "What people do in their own homes is their business and you
can choose to love whoever you love. That's their business. [It] is no
different than discriminating against blacks. It's discrimination plain
and simple," he recently said.
I know for a fact that country
music is also slower in its liberalization, and I have been
understanding and supportive of their path whilst some friends have not.
Just this year we were vindicated when Carrie Underwood supported
marriage equality. I guess I should extend the same understanding to
hip-hop."

TaraElla Envisions a New 'Family Friendly'
TaraElla has put out her thoughts on what should constitute the new 'family friendly'. Here's what she suggested.
New things that should qualify a show as being family friendly:
1) Featuring ethnic diversity
2) Featuring gay and lesbian characters or themes (unless sexual)
3) Promoting messages of peace and optimism in its achievement
4) Promoting multicultural harmony in society
This list is based on what I would want my (hypothetical) children exposed more to.
New things that should disqualify a show as being family friendly:
1) Featuring negative stereotypes about ethnic groups or the LGBT community
2) Implicit or explicit racist or homophobic opinion
This list is based on what I would NOT want my (hypothetical) children exposed to at all before they reach adulthood.
You agree?

A New Article on TaraElla
Opinion column writer Ashley Fan has written an article about Internet Celebrities that placed TaraElla in the same category of Natalie Tran and Chris Crocker.
Finally, there are those who have put out a cultural perspective and model different from what mass media has offered recently. This category would include TaraElla (for her fusion of 90s-style clean living pro-family ideals and 60s-style fusion of political progressivism and popular culture), Natalie Tran (for focusing on everyday life rather than the glamorous, and for refusing to go the sex-sells route) and Chris Crocker (for his refreshing small-town gay young man perspective on the world), and most so-called sub-culture leaders. They have allowed us to see the possibility of culture built on ideas and values other than what is offered by mainstream media at this point. Hence, they seem to have a more stable audience. Whilst mainstream media is still so big that it has been able to crowd out these voices for now, I predict that in the future, with more such personas on offer and the growth of their popularity, internet celebrities in this category will give the mainstream media a run for its money.

Action Against Nudity on PETA, NoH8
While TaraElla supports campaigns such as PETA and NoH8, she does not like the way they are using nudity to sell their point.
"Why all this nudity, however? Do they want to defeat their cause and tar the reputation of both the animal rights and the gay equality movements with such indecency?"
She has urged her fans to send emails to protest the respective organisations for their recent inappropriate nudity.
